Tears and grace.

One post, I started this blog and I wrote one post. One. :)

I looked at the date and that was one year ago... November 2013 is significant; my world turned somewhat upside down in the following months.

I'll post more about that later.

Today I just want to share this because I sobbed when I read it.
I have felt inadequate before...passing moments or days of it, but this has been a year overflowing with nonstop awareness of it.

Being quicker to extend grace, and slower to be self righteous would be a worthwhile remainder of the pain of this past year.

Here it is, from Lara Williams:   Church Don't Judge

Thanks to This lovely person who writes Inspired to Action for sending it my way via email newsletter.

This is me...

I know, I know...it should be something like, "Tis I", but this is my blog, not yours. Furthermore, this is a writer's blog, and those of the writing ilk seem to be split between those who care (a lot) and those who care (not much) about those rules. I am among the latter, sort of :)

A conversation in Ojai California, years ago, is the inspiration for this, my first post. "I am me, he is him, you are you, we are all us!" it is good to make sure we are straight on all of those things.

I am me. Woman, wife, mom of teens (and younger), daughter, sister, friend, Christian. I am not God, nor am I god, nor goddess... I am not Divine. I am me...created not Creator.

You are you (yep, guess we covered that).

He is Him. I know that He is "reading this" because He is everywhere. God knows what's on here, it's good for me. It might keep me honest(er). Besides, He knows I am only dust and He loved me anyway... Enough to offer forgiveness, grace, righteousness and grace through His Son Jesus...loves you too...you are dust too...you know?

We are all us. All of us meeting here on the Internet. Our Creator sees us all to our very marrow. Wisdom begins with the fear of Him, not you, not me. Him.
